Autumn Salmon Fishing Course – River Tweed, Bemersyde
Autumn fly fishing for salmon on the River Tweed is, for many, the pinnacle of their salmon career, and rightly so. This is a prime time on the Tweed - one of the most prolific rivers in Europe and, with salmon runs at their highest, it gives you every chance of hooking that ‘fish of your dreams’.With two of our instructors on hand you will have all of the help and expertise you need to ensure that you develop the skills needed to tackle every eventuality and, with the inside knowledge of the two gillies at Bemersyde, all efforts will be made to afford you the chance of making those salmon fishing dreams come true.
Bemersyde combines excellent fishing on one of the most stunning locations on the river, as it loops past the Eildon Hills in a beautiful wooded gorge giving fishers complete seclusion from the outside world.
The stretch itself is one-mile long, with two-thirds of it double-bank fishing, and it provides some interesting and very high quality fishing, with a pool or stream for every height of water.
We are lucky to be able to secure the beat and offer two courses this year and our clients last year landed 15 salmon between them.
The first course is 22nd September to 24th September 2016 - 6 rods - £1,499 per rod. The second course is 31st October to 2nd November 2016 - 4 rods - £1,699 per rod.
Whether you are new to the sport, or are someone who just wants to improve their knowledge, this salmon fishing course offers the perfect opportunity to build skills, be introduced to one of the best beats on the river and, hopefully, create memories that will last a lifetime.
